Ircam is THE leading hub for research in musical techno- logies in the world. Two composers are collaborating clo- sely with its researchers to develop intricate electroacous- tic soundscapes. A sound projection space, located under IRCAM (the Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music), will host Contrechamps as part of the ManiFeste festival. This marks the beginning of a collabora- tion, as (spoiler alert!) Sarah Nemtsov’s creation will have a second life during the following season.
