Feu sacré

Contrechamps’ extremely rich, warm artistic relationship with composer Rebecca Saunders stretches back over 20 years. It’s a pleasure to have joined the Frankfurt Ensemble Modern and the Oslo Sinfonietta in commissioning this work, and to perform it for the first time in Switzerland one month after its world premiere in Cologne. This concert is a tribute to Ulrich Mosch, for his academic achievements in the field of musicology at the University of Geneva. His former colleagues and Contrechamps, with whom he regularly collaborated, offer him this tribute concert including composers he particularly appreciates.
